Yeah, a LOT of Cybertrucks are Wrapped.
In this case, technically, Tesla is vandalizing the wrap.
I wonder if a case can be made for them to pay for the partial re-wrap.
Probably not since the recall is voluntary.

Boo. Sucks that I’m going to have to pay to rewrap that part of the truck.
It’s also the part I attach the cybertent to so that could potentially contribute/worsen the matter.
I wonder if we can remove the wrap and rewrap it to the new part. Seems like an easy job if the PPF can come off easily.

I had an issue with these panels and reported them several times until they "blamed it" on the wrap and did not take responsibility for it! I am glad that they are now obligated to do so!

Have you tried scheduling the light bar with a service call? I hadn't heard anything and added "Accessory install: light bar" to a service call and that prompted them to order my light bar and install. I hope this helps.
Wow...this is about my third time and on a lark, I sent in another request, today with the following response received: "We reviewed your concerns and found that we need to service your vehicle at our service center. We have rescheduled your appointment for Mar 25 2025, 1:15 PM at"...

I am thinking that is a go...just need to make them aware that my truck is clear coated and it will need to be removed in the area the light-bar is adhered to.

My back panel on tailgate is loose also. It wobbles when you touch it.
I have the same problem with the tailgate. Made an appointment to have it fixed, said they would replace tailgate. Went to appointment, picked truck up next day, no work done! They said it had the wrong tailgate. I think it was for a foundation truck, so they didn't replace it. Said they would reorder. My truck is wrapped and I contacted the dealer who did the wrap, he wanted $400 to wrap the new tailgate.

Well, when I first got the truck, I had two complaints.

1. That trim piece didn’t quite lineup and look great. But they said it was within spec. I wonder if I’m going to be happy with the way the line of the replacement?
2. One of my doors are slightly out of align… it wouldn’t be such a big deal if the lines weren’t so straight…(but within spec)

at least I get a second shot at issue number 1

if this is what I think it is, they apply thread lock to an 8 mm nut from the inside. shouldn't affect your wrap
I don't think so. I think the panel is glued to the piece that is bolted. If the glue fails doesn't matter if the bolt has thread lock or not.

How does this recall work? Just wait until a notification pops up in the app and then make a service request?
I just requested service through the app and they confirmed moments later. I'm getting mine replaced in 2 weeks despite the cantrails feeling solid.

I am thinking that this may be related to the recall, also...we will wait and see. Thanks for the help, to all.
