Anyone else feels that there should be a switch to adjust the steering feel weight?
I liked the original, easy to turn with one finger wheel but after latest update now it feels like my old previous BMW. I understand the road feel and connection but sometimes I just want it to be easy like it was before.
Hopefully Tesla will add a switch in the next update like with suspension

That's so strange. I have AWD Cybertruck and it's definitely changed after latest update.
Same streets, same turns take more effort to turn... Hopefully I am not going crazy ?

75 mile test over windy roads with multiple turns at different degrees and speed. Immediate noticeable difference in steering feel and especially at higher speeds when cornering. Can’t say for sure which way I prefer right now but can definitely see the use in being able to adjust to preference.

I agree. Spent some time trying to sort out that if might be just in my mind because I knew about the update, but I think it’s harder to turn. Kind of like equal pressure all the time, but I “think” I like the old way better.

Not sure if all in my head, but went for a long drive last night and my arms felt a bit fatigued from all the feedback to the wheel from bumpy road. Typically you don't feel as much, so there was no fatigue. I couldn't use FSD because of think fog, and not sure if placebo, but by the end of the ride my arms were more tired than ever before driving CT. Easy fix is no, low, high feedback toggle, I don't need any and would select no.

Not sure about fatigue, but agree on the easy Tesla fix!!

I drive probably 10% of the time but it felt smoother to me tbh... honestly I just don't care.

I had no problem with road feedback before the update (actually found it excessive at times) and now after the update I feel like I'm turning the wheel a little more in some situations and I don't really like it.

I feel like the steering used to be really sensitive in the center, and I loved the precision there. Now it feels like they relaxed the center a little bit and it feels less sporty and precise there.

I want 2 sliders:
  1. To dial road feedback up or down with some kind of adjustable low pass filter. Basically easing vibrations when I'm on the highway for long stretches of time, and allowing them when I want to party.
  2. Steering ratio curve up or down - Same thing. Except I'd just leave it in the sportiest, most extreme mode possible 99% of the time.
