I’ve waited this long, so I’d prefer to get a late VIN that was built with the latest adhesive to avoid the recall.

Few months back my local delivery center had 60k vins. Prolly closer to 90k now if I was a betting man.

Don’t think it would matter because they won’t sell a new car without preforming the recall on it first.
Maybe someone else more knowledgeable can comment.

Got mine on Monday, says it was made in February, and my vin is 64,5xx. Cantrails were fine, and I'm not sure anything was done, though I suppose they had to be re-glued.

I would insist on a 65k+ VIN, put your order in for a new 2025 and then message your advisor that you will reject a delivery of any vehicle with a sub 65k VIN #

Or order from inventory and save a few thousand dollars and deal with the older VIN # issues

That is indeed how recalls work. A new vehicle cannot be sold to a retail buyer if there are outstanding unadressed recalls.

With only 13 weeks left in the year you may want to entertain delaying your order for a 2026 if you don’t qualify for the $7500 tax credit.

With over 2 years in production all of the CT “bugs” will be ironed out and unannounced part updates and production refinements will have been implemented.

A lot of minor stuff, along with pedal, cantrail, wiper motor, vault weatherstripping, fitment issues, high voltage harness, etc.
