2025.8.7 Minor Fixes out

I jumped on 2025.8.6. My CT is still sitting at SC after critical errors. Not gonna touch 2025.8.7 for now especially since it’s at 19% a few hours away and I don’t know when the SC will even get to it. But would love to hear any thoughts on this update.

I have been making it a habit to wait 2-3 days to install any updates, to many issues with updates in the past.

Looks like you joined in Feb, that when you got your truck? Still at a SC?

Ooh I hope the steering gets easier or a driving with a dog mode is put in. Seems like they’d make a bigger deal if that were true but I’ll install it with hope

Honestly even a five second delay on rear seat seatbelt warnings would be a big help

Yeah a few of us noticed the update before this one increased the resistance to the wheel, especially noticable on fairly sharp long turns:

I think they would have release notes for default steering option enabled, this is most likely removing the errors that came with the previous update like front motor disabled after super charging and some others

My beast just started downloading this OTA (I am out and about without WiFi right now).

One thing I definitely noticed is the increase cabin camera sensitivity when on FSD. In the past i could get away with looking back and handing something to my 3 yo in her car seat but now it quickly tells me to shift the steering wheel slightly. I also used to focus my eyes in the left corner(where i have my mag safe phone holder set up) to look at notifications on my phone but again it quickly tells me to grab steering wheel. If my eyes aren't looking completely straight it nudges me, very annoying now.

You can tap the seatbelt icon on the popup when it pops up. That will disable the alerts for that particular seat. I discovered it randomly when my dog was in the back seat. Haha

Yeah that has been there for quite a while. Only the back seats can be disabled.

The problem is that it pops down when she moves, which is usually less than a second. Not easy to do while driving.

This update enables the knockout gas upgrade to eminate from the vents while your oxygen mask drops from the ceiling.

What I've noticed is the signage on the maps, for the main roads there is a grey rectangle with the letters in white for exits, and for freeways its a blue background with white letters. Very small change, but significant, it makes so easy to see the important information when looking at the map
