850 mile drive on FSD

Drove from Omaha to Austin mostly on FSD except when I got a suspension for looking at the screen for too long trying to find a place to eat.

I didn’t have any times where I had to take over - made it through construction zones without a problem. I wish I had taken a pic of all the bugs on the front of the frunk. It was a grave site, but nothing on top of the frunk or windshield. I never had to clean the windshield on whole trip. The slope on the front is awesome, I could not believe it.

funny enough, I just got back from Austin today but in my m3p. Fsd the entire way back in one go today. great weather and great drive.

Yea I have had a few fingers but I'm not sure if that is just the drivers normal self. Moved out here in Feb and got a middle finger one day one because I was pulling into a grocery store in my F350 to slowly...

I am tempted to try and get to one of the nearby meet ups for the may the 4th lightshow put together by xlightshow.

If you see the arctic white (it's a gloss white that has metal paint flake in it to make it look like ice) around, that's me.

I put on ppf and then graphene from turtle wax to help with the bugs on the front and lightbar.

I have never had a vehicle driven this many miles without washing the windshield. It is so awesome.

do you work at stratcom on Offutt? There’s a metallic pearl white wrapped one parked in the northwest lot that I always slow down to look at as I love the depth of the white up close.

Yea, when I reserved mine back in 2019, I wasn't a big fan of the raw steel. Then people started photoshopping wraps on it and I saw it in white and a star nebula blue and I liked both. I couldn't find a wrap with the blue so I went with the arctic white.

Nice. Love FSD. Lately I can't even do my 15 mile drive into town though as nav routing is all messed up :-(
