If the range extender ever happens I think it should have a mppt controller built in!

Numerous use cases for this. Originally I wanted this for camping with a small 20’ casita. At least be able to break even on camping usage from a small travel trailer.
Then there is PowerShare, backup power to your home. Why not have a simple option to recharge at least a fridge draws worth of power. We are talking emergencies here not putting on 15 miles a day but grok says 600w could make 5 miles(adjusting briefcase panels to the sun a few times a day)

They stopped taking pre-orders, yes, but I haven’t seen anything concrete on it being cancelled altogether - just speculation. Once people start getting refunds, then we can worry.

Just throw in back 2- 5k Jackery solar chargers and done. Have 240v output, 10kw storage at 30amps 7200w output to charge truck when needed. Way cheaper at $2400 each and removal is seconds not days by a dealer.
