Aren't you able to reinstall the current firmware/software from the service menu? I've not tried this for any issue, but I believe I've heard others give it a go as a DIY. Worst case you have a stainless steel brick. Just Kidding...
There’s no reversing a software upgrade. Tesla over-writes the entire disk image.

Well right now I’m practically begging Tesla service to fix it ASAP. I use my CT for business and I can’t have this turning into a safety issue. This looks like the same issue I had last time where moisture was getting into the system due to a bad seal. It can’t be a coincidence that my windshield just gets replaced and now I’m experiencing the same issues after heavy rains. I love my truck. I just want it fixed.

Last November, I had similar issues. I think it’s just a build quality issues since my truck is a FS CT. So I’m taking all this with a grain of salt. Still very frustrating.

If you drive to the service center (without an appointment) and tell them it needs to be fixed, in my experience (and what I've ready from others), they will get your car fixed.

Last week, my wiper motor failed in the middle of the nor'easter we had in the Boston area. I was driving on I-93 and it just locked up in the middle of my windshield and it wouldn't work. I limped home with my head out the window and using the front camera. Next morning, drove to the SC and told them they had to fix it now...and they did. Luckily, they had a wiper motor in stock.

Luckily they also replaced my wiper motor when they replaced my windshield. The windshield was another mess. Almost 3k for a new one. This repair better be free.

So it’s been a couple of days of no rain and it’s been fine. Pretty much a repeat of last November. Service will say they find nothing and try to send me on my way and when it rains again, I’ll have the same issue. Hopefully this time that won’t be the case and they’ll refer to their notes from last time and fix it. Then I’ll pray that that my windshield doesn’t break again. So for anyone reading this post and if you have a FS CT with VIN’s at ~24k and your running into a similar issue, have them check the seal near the modules responsible for connectivity and other functions. You’ll thank me later.
