Weird noise coming from dash area

They now said I have a poorly sealed windshield and air (and noise) is coming in and reverberating to me as the driver. They replaced the windshield and the noise is gone.

Any updates for this thread? I have the same issue. I didn’t notice it in September and it’s 0 degrees in the Midwest and I notice it daily now. My truck has 2k miles on it.

Try this. I got rid of my truck awhile ago. So did not test this. But sounds promising. Good luck

my guess is that it is a bearing in the front drive unit.
Can I ask the last 5 of your vin? Or around what # was your truck made?

My truck still has an odd noise starting at around 45mph. It sounds like something is grinding. Took it to the service center multiple times and techs were not able to locate.

Test drove other CT models and they made similar noise.

I just live with the noise...

The CT is still awesome!

No regrets.

I was persistent, went to a different service center on 10/15 and they agreed I had a weird noise. After replacing hubs which didn’t help, they replaced the front drive unit and now it’s whisper f***** quiet and I couldn’t be happier. Sounds just like my other Tesla’s now.

Same. Replacing the FDU fixed it for me. There is a duplicate thread with recent updates here as well.
