So I followed the steps in this video which was pretty straightforward but after getting everything put back together and going into Outlets and Mods, no lightbar appeared. IDK what I could have done wrong. I did push the red button in after connecting and everything seemed secure. Is there a step I missed? Thanks.

First activation process:
Press and hold brake
Shift into drive
Turn on roof outlet
Shift into park
Release brake
Get out and wait...

Did you open the B Pilar outer cover and attach connectors there for that purpose?
Edit: I see if you followed the video you probably made that connection.

Did you get an audible "click" from the connector? Sometimes those things need more force than most people expect.

Is your truck a Foundation Series Beast? I've heard others won't activate the light.

EDIT: I see you have a Beast. Captain Obvious question revoked.

I'm not sure, I think so, but I wasn't really paying attention but I can see where the red part is hooked in. The worst part was trying to get the weatherstripping back into place so I hate to take it apart again.

OK, maybe this got lost in the discussion, but do you have to disconnect the MV battery for this procedure or not? Thanks. I'm still trying to figure out where I went wrong and Tesla is not answering me back about the battery question.

It is best practice to disconnect the MV bus, but you don't have to as long as you make sure the roof 48v is turned off before doing any wiring.

When I got mine installed, Tesla connected the wires to the B puller but left the 3 wires up top not connected. Once I connected the 3 wires all I had to do was turn on the top light switch then it recognize the light bar. Once it saw the light bar then I got the new display with the light bar on/off and dim.
I never once disconnected any battery while I was doing the install.

Thanks, I was pretty sure it was just a 'make absolutely sure' procedure. I guess I will take it apart again, maybe I just didn't push the connectors together tight enough. I had the B pillar on my head (I didn't completely take it off so it was like a lid) and was trying to do that while holding my phone for flashlight because it's too dark in my garage.

..lastly, make sure to conduct TESLA's version of CTRL, ALT, DEL. Hold down both scroll buttons on the wheel until the the screen reboots.
