Hi,
Thinking of placing order tomorrow for a 2025 AWD Cybertruck, anything to look out for on Delivery day or anyone having issues?

VIN I’m looking at was built mid July 785xx.

Thanks for any info, very much appreciated!

I had a FS AWD VIN 22k and now a FS CB VIN 35k after trading in the AWD.

I didn’t have any critical issues on the 22k one, besides some interior scuffs probably due to new factory lines and the workers still training. But that’s always the reality, new people come in and learn and help put together the truck.

The 35k vin one also had some cosmetic issues on the outside mainly probably due to the being transported by freight.

All that to say, if you find any issues (which I really think will be minimal) at this point, you can point it out to them when you pick up the truck and within the first 100 mile window, you can message the SC and they will fix it up, no questions asked.

If there’s anything else, anything major - your truck is covered under warranty.

Got mine in late June. April build 73xxx VIN

My third Tesla; 21 Model Y, 24 Model 3 highland. All had something(s) that required addressing at/after delivery. Mostly paint or panel gap issues or an annoying rattle.

The Cybertruck had a few things:
  • Missing top tonneau slat
  • Miscolored vinyl around rear seat cupholder
  • Tailgate applique loose
  • Slightly misaligned frunk lid (decided to let it be)
  • Some stainless surface stains & minor scratch imperfections (I consider them character marks like Marilyn Monroe's mole 😜 + it's a truck)
  • Miscolored bed liner (they wiped it with armor All but when that wore off it looked milky again - not worrying about it)
Based on my prior experiences, this build is pretty refined for Tesla.

If you need a referral link, here's mine

My advice is to get the AWD. The long range rwd is stripped down too much and not enough of a price drop.
I agree, but if money is tight and you can live without the adaptive air suspension, the RWD is a solid option. It still has SBW/4WS - those are huge.

Got mine yesterday. AWD. I wanted to wait for more incentives, but I had a buyer for my diesel truck, which I miss already, but the Cybertruck is awesome. I love the FSD. Game changer.

After a year of ownership.... This truck is amazing. There is nothing like it. You can go all over this forum and see people using it for all kinds of tasks, off roading, overloading, hauling stuff and just having a great time. If you go with FSD, you'll find that it's pretty darn good and will only get better with time. I use it daily and it takes the stress out of my 30 minute commute. Good luck with your decision. http://ts.la/mark288
