I’ve had my CT for almost a week now and it gets so much attention it is ridiculous. Everyone looks at it regardless of their age.

the one thing I noticed though is that other Tesla drivers go out of their way to not look. I’ve noticed that is the case with most. Even at superchargers.

Not that it matters but it’s funny. Is our fellow Tesla drivers hating on us? Or any other theories?

I see the opposite. They usually speed up/slow down and give me a thumbs up. At least the guys do...

Kids (like 6 year olds) are the most excited when they see Cybertruck. It's crazy.

In the order of "excitement':

1. Kids
2. Other truck drivers
3. Tesla drivers

In the order of 'I hate this":

1. Sports car drivers
2. A**holes

Most of the other Tesla owners I have come across at superchargers have been pretty interested in my truck. The only negative thing I have experienced is another truck owner who wouldn’t even acknowledge me. His face was planted in his phone and even rolled up his window when someone tried to engage in a conversation with him.

Now I have run across 3 people that have felt it was ok to yell, give me the finger and try to side swipe me. The one that surprised me the most was a lady that flipped me off, as I backed up my wife rolled down her window and said “Bless your heart”. Let me tell you that REALLY set that lady off. She had a few choice words for my wife. Honestly I never that truck would upset someone that much.

Who knows. I've never seen a Cybertruck at a supercharger at any of the 5 superchargers I frequent.

But when I do, they better be prepared for questions from me. I strike up questions from many Tesla drivers about the mods they do etc.

I’ve had the same experience while driving. I don’t Supercharge very often but like the OP most other Tesla owners charging notice it, but don’t really care. I’ve had more non Tesla folks come and ask about the truck while Supercharging.

I absolutely love seeing the kids get excited to see the truck. Their genuine excitement just brightens my day.

Too many stories to share them all but one of my favorite just happened recently. I was behind an SUV with a mom and kid around 12 or 13 in the passenger seat. She must have told him I was behind them because he whips his head around trying to see the truck. He couldn’t get a good look so he pull the visor down to try and see through the mirror. I couldn’t resist so when we started moving again I deliberately got in the lane next to them and matched the moms speed so he could see the truck. The huge smile and look of disbelief on his face seeing the truck made my day. We have each other the thumbs up and both were left pretty happy.

My wife spotted one from the passenger seat the other week and I whipped a u-turn and gave up looking for it after a few miles. It ended up next to us about 15 minutes later, and I followed it incognito for a couple miles as to not be one of those annoying 'gawkers'. As a Tesla owner I'm aware of the unwanted attention and therefore I wouldn't harass a CT owner at a SuC other than looking at it when exiting and entering my car.
