UPDATE:

One of my complaints to the SC had to do with a rubbing of my steering wheel against the plastic housing behind it. I attempted to recreate it in front of the Tesla advisor, but couldn’t. I guess though he wanted to look further and removed my steering wheel and noticed some delamination of the leather on the back side. So within the service history it stated that he replaced the steering wheel with a new one.

Now, I’m not sure what types of calibration procedures are done or if anything on the software side is done when replacing the steering wheel but my complaints about FSD have, for the most part, subsided. The only thing I have noticed that I don’t like is that sometimes it’s not completely a smooth experience, compare to our MY, in longer highway speed turns (left or right).

Can anyone explain why this might be?
That’s fascinating. A mechanical issue affecting FSD? Haven’t ever even thought of that.

Can you elaborate on the slat fix. Mine leaks like crazy. Contacted Tesla OKC. Total blow off.

My CT is much slower than my MS getting going when at the front of the line and the light turns green. It also loves to cut the corner during left turns.

So from what understand, there is a slat that was removed in the “final product” to create a water channel. In some cases this “missing” slat can create space that is larger than intended and then it causes the opposite effect and allows water in.

The service center is supposed to measure the gap and if it’s out of spec, place a new slat and gasket I believe. I’ll link the service bulletin below.

As many have posted the slat missing doesn't make it less waterproof. Many get the slat added and complain the water intrusion is just as bad. That's because the seal on the other side of that is what prevents water from coming in. I have a missing slat (most CTs were delivered like that) and my bed is waterproof.
