Yes! Only after I was stupid enough to sign a waiver. They destroyed my digital rearview’s wiring intentionally.
Thats terrible, but if you didnt sign it then wouldn't they have refused to repair the problem? Sounds like they had it in for you for some reason. I certainly dont want that to happen so im probably better off just removing the whole thing to avoid any issues.

Yeah yours is more clear than mine even with the cable in the way. I'm really hoping they replace the camera or something and it fixes the issue.

You're completely right, I really shouldn't have to remove the mirror cause anyone who's installed one knows there is absolutley no way it could cause that, you literally just feed a cable through a hole in the plastic, yet I dont want to get blamed for it and have to deal with defending myself.
After reading a few more of your posts, mine isn't hardwired in. If yours is, then I'd be more concerned they attribute blame with it still installed.

Hey guys, so I wanted to get some feedback on an issue. I have posted before about my FSD at night giving me constant nags to move the wheel (no hats or glasses) and it saying attention monitoring unavailable. I recently installed the hanshow digital mirror, the new version.

Well I think I figured out why I was getting the constant nags - i checked the cameras on the truck and the interior driver facing camera is super blurry (yes I wiped the lens clean to make sure). I think it just cant see well and that's why im getting the nags. I posted about this issue way before I ever got the digital mirror, I've just never checked the trucks cameras until today. I know there is no way they are related. I even unplugged the mirrors power and checked to make sure.

To my point, I made a service appt to have it looked at, do you think they are going to say it is related to the digital mirror somehow? Should I take the mirror off and move the wires? Has anyone else had this problem with the interior camera being so blurry?
Thanks

I’d remove it and then reinstall it afterwards. Less frustration that way…. Another CT owner told me that the SC tried to blame a rearview camera on his problems before learning from him that the rearview camera wasn’t even installed yet!

It seems that it might be a soup de juere item at some service centers right now.

Hey thanks for posting this, mine looks identical to yours, maybe even slightly worse. When you had yours fixed they swapped out the camera for a new one and that fixed the issue? Did they ever tell you what the problem was or what caused it? Also, by any chance did you notice if you had issues with FSD at night? I know you said you tested it and it was still working, mine does too but only in the ddaytime. Thanks.

How did they come to the conclusion that it was the rear camera if it wasnt even installed yet?

This is what they did to fix my cabin camera. They replaced it. Not sure why they stated the cabin filter (probably just a typo). This was back in Dec 2024.
