Cool video. I’m just trying to figure out where we could mount one of these
Excellent tool as well. Maybe it would fit just under the driver's seat?

The other thing about his tool is that I probably would not attempt to use it without some pretty heavy work gloves.
The glass cutting saw part and the handle appear to be one and the same.
I also wonder if it’s ferrous enough to be securable by strong magnet. Says it’s made of steel.

Looks to be a serious extraction tool @ $175. The big question is where to mount it so it doesn’t come loose and go flying in a collision.

Maybe a couple of these attached either to the side of the door pocket or the surface of the fridge by the drivers right knee?

I spoke to him, too. I just don’t know how to get my hands on cybertruck window or who to ask at Tesla to send him one for testing the LIFELINE tool.

I would think Tesla would welcome the chance.

Looks like they're sold out, but Jay (seems like owner based on my conversation with him) said they're expecting a restock in the next week or two. Very nice, helpful guy. Sounds like he's spoken to a few CT owners already . . . likely based on this post.

If you're able to get him access to a panel of CT glass for testing, you might earn yourself a free tool (priced around $200 per). He's a man of integrity and doesn't want to assert with certainty the tools' viability on CTs without testing them.

Look forward to sending him my business when they restock.

My wife has expressed some concern about being able to self-extricate from our truck in the event of a rollover or similar due to the strength of the windows.
Overall, I feel like this is a valid concern but even if it wasn’t, I’d like to get something that reassures her of a plan in that situation.
In other words, please don’t let this devolve into a thread about how safe and awesome and easy to escape from the CT is.
This is not a criticism of your truck. Just a request for help finding the right product.
It would also be awesome if it’s something that can be mounted somewhere accessible in the cabin.
Found this on Amazon but wanted to get thoughts and/or experiences from all of
you first.

So I realize this is a forum where my opinion is probably unpopular but that’s just not me. I don’t like guns or have a desire to have one anywhere near my children.
I have no beef with anyone who feels differently and I have made every effort to educate myself by going to a gun range and learning how to use both a rifle and a handgun as has my wife. When my kids are of age I’ll likely take them to do the same.
I think it’s probably founded in my childhood trauma. I had a neighbour whose child accidentally shot himself dead at age 9 and I never really got over that.

The cost is in line with others. The quality and 'novelty' factor pushed me to click buy...
Yeah. Me too. Even if it’s just to hammer tent stakes.

Looks cool and the demo video suggests it can break the glass, but then what? The video cut (no pun intended) from the glass breakage to the seat belt cutting . . . completely skipping the glass cutting that seems necessary to get from break to escape. Am I missing something?
