I can say if installed correctly the original did not have any problems offroading. I've had it on for almost all of my trips and have never noticed a problem. My (and many others) complaint has 100% been the height problem. Honestly even putting it 1" higher than stock would be a plus!

I did a full review on this but that thread disappeared (I can find it in my searches but the link no longer works, server repair I think). Here are the height images though.

Did you actually install it and get it to work with the bracket upside down? If that's the case, I'm gonna go flip mine right now. lol

Yes I did each in a complete mounting. It does work but the problem is the way the bracket is designed any form of upside down causes the screen to angle horribly. If you pulled it toward the drivers side the top tip would be about two inches lower on the driver side than the passenger side.

Seeing clearly and reaching the far end of the screen is extremely difficult. Swivel at the OEM height is a must!

If it is verified to not loosen when off-roading. then I'd be interested. What would be really cool, is if my front passenger could watch movies while I drive, but that is a software limit.

Thanks for letting us know, it would have been nice if the vendor made a public announcement of each of the winners.

I'm curious to see if someone goes from the V1 that drops 2 inches to the V2 that doesn't drop and if it can be done directly or if yoi have to reinstall some of the original parts which I'm sure I must have around somewhere...

I'll share whatever info I can and that you might need. I don't have V1 so can't compare first-hand.

Where can I find instructions for the installation?

The installation QR code I got in the box is for Model Y powered frunk installation instructions.

Absolutely struggling during installation. The instructions (QR code) point to wrong task (for Model Y frunk) and when I finally figured things out and got to the last few steps to connect the USB, there’s no room. I may need to request a refund if I cannot get support with this issue.
