We had a good run... Starting Oct 1st, we can no longer ride solo on HOV lanes.

Yet Big Oil & Gas still get billions of subsidies a year..

Annual U.S. fossil fuel subsidies are a subject of varying estimates, with figures ranging from $35 billion in direct federal handouts to upwards of $760 billion when including broader financial support and unpriced externalities like health and environmental damages, according to recent reports from Oil Change International and the International Monetary Fund (IMF). These figures represent significant government support through tax breaks and direct payments, often benefiting the oil, gas, and coal industries.

Yeah. Sucks. Loved it here in GA. On the plus side, I won't be losing anything now if I opt to switch to a prestige/vanity plate :)
I live in GA as well. As far as I know, they didn’t retract the law where AFV can ride alone in the HOV lanes. I do know after September 30, PeachPass won’t be toll free for AFV. I suspect sooner or later, GA will follow suit and won’t let AFV vehicles use the HOV lanes for solo drivers. However, that will be a loss of revenue for DOR. Most of AFV will switch back to normal plates.

this Administration is completely against Green Energy & Vehicles-hypocrites!
Not true. They just don’t believe in hand outs on the backs of Tax Payers. Besides if it was really about the pollution and the environment we would be better served with more lanes for everyone to drive in instead of having 3 of the 4 lanes with bumper to bumper cars idling for hours. It has always been about CONTROL for the “Progressive Left”.

We’re siting the first QVC infomercial in White House history as evidence of this?

Thank God for all the subsidies- without them owning a Tesla would not be possible.

Not to mention make all the products that UP sells.

Oh.
I suppose there’s NO fraud waste and abuse going on with Tax Payers Dollars in all the Gov Backed Programs?
There is a smart and efficient way to use tax payer money and thank God for Elon and Big Balls to come in and clean house.
There should be NO SACRED COWS.

Agree 100% with this. Government=Bureaucrats wasting other people's money.

As much as people argue - the simple fact is we cannot live without Oil/Gas/Coal/Nuclear - it is what makes today's world possible and comfortable.

Can/Should we be more efficient and less damaging to the environment in our use of it - you bet.

Ev's should not get to use the High Occupancy Vehicle lane - the name itself implies the standard that should be followed.

Oh.

IMO - The HOV Lane should be turned into a 100mph FSD ONLY Lane.

It would take a lot of high-speed training data before a Tesla could safely operate at 100 mph on FSD! Driving at 100 mph is many times more difficult/critical than driving at 70 mph.

So you’re saying IT CAN BE DONE.

Need more than one passenger as of end of the month. This was governed by federal mandate which expired.
