Side note: I'm still working on tech suite add-on that complements (and even outperforms) sentry mode. can't really say much yet, and I don't have a timeframe for completion. Been extremely busy.

I had someone throw a half full water bottle at me while I was waiting in the left turn lane at an intersection. It just bounced off of my window but the temptation to chase the guy down almost got the best of me and instead I decided to try and identify his license plate from the dash cam footage. Unfortunately, I can't read license plates from the footage and really disappoints me as I think it would be very important for using footage as evidence.

This is an issue as a physician myself; patients may view one differently knowing our religious, political stand point, and now our choice vehicle driving. Ridiculous.

Physician here too…..patients do ask if it is mine and all have liked it except 1 seemed odd about it…but I just told them the reasons I like the vehicle, not much else you can do

One more tip about the CF I wasn’t expecting and then I’ll get off this soapbox.
When I put them on mine, the el-cheapo set I got didn’t have a cutout for the light in the middle of the door button so I ended up just putting a clear piece of ppf on them.
That really makes the buttons stick out and be more obvious. I’ll include a picture below.
Overnight the confused looks from the teachers at my kids schools during dropoff and pickup just vanished.
Not sure there is a particularly good reason for the door opening mechanism to be “camouflaged”.
Unexpected benefit.
So, whatever your taste dictates but my advice is consider leaving that piece of the sticker off and just using clear ppf and ceramic for fingerprint prevention or just nothing on the button.

You might have a point. Vandalize your own truck. Spray the word swastikar on there and people will be so afraid of going near it and being arrested they will never touch it.

My sister was over for a family event and had another "you need to sell that truck, I am always scared someone is going to attack you" conversation with me. It's a shame that this ever would be a thing, lots of unstable and violent people out there. Sorry this happened OP.

Personally, that is not the lesson I want teach my children. “Change how you live your life because of assholes who don’t see the world the same way you do and you don’t agree with”.
I think doing this is more of a harm to your family and yourself than any small improvement in safety you gain by listening to that well intentioned but misguided advice.
I’m never going to teach them to stop being Jewish because of antisemites or make choices they don’t feel are who they are because of homophobes and I’m also not going to teach them not to drive what they love because the world is filled with short sighted assholes who don’t understand this truck.

I thought about going to a state fair or something and selling 3x3” sections and letting people “ carve” their space. For $20 a pop I think that’s the price of the truck or my math is off

It is like the guy that gave back the baseball from his kids hands to the Phillies Karen. That is some weak sauce you are teaching your kids. I have and still receive thumbs and “that is wild” comments ever since I got the CT. Sure once in a while there will be that occasional bird as well, but that has always been from young, white colored hair folk.

This past weekend while at a high school football game - I have probably 25 families stoping to look at the truck and taking pictures judging by all sentry clips I have.

Have you taken off the plastic? I know that’s weird question but those do have a plastic cover from factory and mine got scratched in the same way but it turned out to be just plastic film from the factory.

checked. its a gouge in the glass. im still surprised that sentry didnt catch it. makes me think it could be possibly be environmental?
just an odd mark to have been made by a bush.

I do drive by one next to my driveway - seems like there would be many more marks.

anywhoo, the carbon fiber ppf is on its way so it will be gone soon.
