Hope everyone is having a great evening. First post here.
I’ve owned my CT for about a month now and I’m not in love with the subs. They leave so much to be desired. My MY Juniper sounds so much better (deeper/harder hitting and just overall cleaner sounding). I feel like the factory subs are muddy and weak.
All that being said, what do y'all think about swapping the factory woofers with the Audiofrog GS8ND2? Seems like they would work with some 3D printed spacers (to narrow the screw pattern and offset the woofer to allow more space for the magnet).
I wonder if it would improve the bass response and the ability to hit lower frequencies with running the factory amp wattage (I think around 80 watts) to them.
Any 3d printer gurus out there?
