I’m just grateful mine doesn’t make an insensitive noise like the old Wii fit did when i stand on it…”ohhh”
Years ago at the gym, I used the “fitness test” mode of a treadmill, where it rates you from as high as “elite firefighter” down to “computer programmer”.

It stopped halfway through the test, informing me that I lacked the cardiovascular strength to safely finish. “Please step off the equipment. And get yourself to a doctor stat, because… dayum

You’re in good company. If you ever see me running, please attempt to kill whatever is chasing me.

If I see you running though, it’s probably in Vegas and I’ll just shelter in place at the nearest buffet.
My BMI would double if I lived in that city.

As a local, what are your three favorite places to eat?
What about you @CyberGus ? Tastiest places in Austin?
In Phoenix probably Carolinas for mexican, happy bao (I’m a sucker for quality dim sum) and pizza Bianco
Durant’s is also good for old world type prime rib dinners

1. Not the strip,
2. Off the strip and,
3. … at home.

But seriously; here are places that I’m reliably willing to deal with the hassle of going on the strip for:

1. Bazaar Meats, Jose Andres (for a superlative dining experience, you can try to get into E’ - also by Andres)
2. Washing Potato
3. Bouchon
4. Din Tai Fung

If you want the best food in Vegas you’re going to need to head to Chinatown.

Always head into Chinatown when I’m there. Haven’t found a favorite yet for dim sum but none have been terrible.
Din Tai fung is always good and you guys have a Hakassan too I think. Those are easy though. It’s like nobu. You know it’s gonna be a slam dunk no matter what city it is.
I’m a big fan of Jose Andres but haven’t been to either of those. I’ll give that a go.
I really like lotus of Siam too but it’s not what it used to be.
Strip-wise my wife HAS to get a Wellington at Ramsey’s every time we go so that always takes up one dinner. lol
Max’s is also a favorite Filipino place for us.

Chuy’s for Tex-Mex. Get the creamy jalapeño sauce.

Last time I was in Vegas I hit Gordon Ramsay Steak at the Paris. Pricey but it’s hard to find a good Wellington.

When they delivered the most expensive steak I’d ever ordered, I said “y’all got any catsup?” The waiter was unamused. 😑

I see you know your way around a knife and fork. All of those are solid. To my knowledge, we had the first Hakkasan.

Highest quality best food you’re going to find in Vegas is my number one spot and I don’t recommend it to everyone: Kaiseki Yuzu. $$$$$

My wife and I discovered them as a nowhere a hole in the wall in a strip mall more than a decade ago. Last year they were Beard Award nominated.

For Thai? Lamaii

Banging. That is exactly the kind of recommendation I was hoping for. Thank you
