So yes. Not directly by a supercharger ( I don’t think at least) but yes to a mobile connector attached to the 240 outlet in your vault even while supercharging. Under an hour to fill up the slightly over 4 kWh battery in it. It can also connect to extension batteries though.
Same for any level 2 ev charger. You can then use that to run your house especially if you have an Ecoflow smart panel 2 or manual backup switch.
You don’t necessarily even have to take it to the supercharger with you because you have a 240v outlet in the back of the truck.
This is extra super cool if you happen to be one of the people (not me) who got free SC with your FS truck.

I have a Honda EU3200i, and a 14 gallon gas caddy, picking up a Casita RV July 8 in Rice TX. This option gives me about 73 miles of additional towing range (assuming the Casita cuts my 300 miles in half). Grok compared the options in attached table. Obviously have not tried it out yet but fyi if interested:

You're going to love the Casita. I have a freedom deluxe. You should get about 120-175, depending on the location of the next charger and how daring you are lol. I made 175 miles of two full charges with rightly 10% left. Right now, I'm camping on a beach on Long Island with no service and the CT is powering the entire camper.

Thanks for that info on the Casita, we're getting the Independence Deluxe, been looking at Dometic outdoor privacy room but haven't decided yet, retiring in 2 years and looking forward to exploring, boondocking, etc. Curious whether mountain passes affect range, downhill regen might counter uphill drain. Glad to hear from fellow CT and Casita owner!

DeWALT DXIG2200 (1800W, 21kg), or the RATO’s higher power output (3000W) if you have it in US

The re-gen will help but you won't recoup all of the energy it took to go up the hill. The sun barely came out now so I will take a picture of us on the beach. First picture is my CT and my camper the second picture is my brother-in-law and sister CT and their camper. I am powering my entire camper with the truck The fridge is running on gas but I'm running the TV and the fan on AC.

Most of your energy will be for heating. Don’t use the heater and get a diesel heater. Might even get a diesel heat exchanger for the battery system. I’ve been thinking about this for quite some time as it’s an affordable option to increase range on an EV during the cold.

This is with the level two charger that comes with the truck? And also do you have any pictures of your setup and lastly …

Any chance you could post a link to your ground plug? Please and thank you.
Correct. I use the standard TESLA portable charger that you get from them. You’ll need a 30A head as the charger only comes with a 50A and a 15A.

The ground plug:

Sorry. No pictures. If I have time I can try and set it up. It works quite well. 3 Kw/H isn’t fast but that’s not the point. Other than testing it’s a backup. No different than when I used to carry 6 gallons of diesel on my Diesel Jeep Wrangler. That was an extra 120 miles of range that I never once needed to use.

Sorry it took so long. Getting ready for another roadtrip and was checking all the gear. Remembered to take pictures.

I am really thinking of that new Predator 11k quiet generator. That should cut my charge time in half. Anyone else running one yet?

I’m waiting on somebody a lot smarter than me to just tell me which one to buy.

All depends on your use case. That Predator is almost 275lbs. I’m not getting that in the bed of the cybertruck. So it’s not an emergency solution for me. Neither is it a solution for getting some energy while camping in a place that has no power. It’s is very good at charging quickly at home or at an off grid cabin where you take it and leave it there. I don’t know that you can even close the cover on the bed with that predator in the back.

I use my Pulsar as both insurance on my many roadtrips and as a way to get some juice at campsites that aren’t electrified if I need it. You’ll notice I’m at 19k miles in one year of ownership. 13k of those are roadtrips.

I think the pulsar is certainly more along the lines of where I want to go with this. I was looking at some Honda options and now I’m wondering if I can use Bluetti AC180t or a similar solar generation solution.

Here is my vote - https://a.co/d/5Y8GKA6 For the money , weight and versatility this is my go to remote charging solution - $800, < 100lbs and 5000 watts on gas . Used it a bunch when dry camping at the lake - Run the Rv a/c off the Cybertruck after night time generator restrictions then charge it back up the next morning - Little noisier than I would like though

That WEN is nice. Says is bonded neutral for charging hybrids. So it should charge the Tesla without the extra plug.
