My issue with the dry wipes is I often wash my truck mainly to have a clean front winshield, specifically to cut down on glare but the dry wipe will often leave a trace smudge accross the wipe path which brings back the glare and reduced night time visibilty with low-angle sunlight or headlights at night.Yes, I cleaned mine (inside surface of windshield under the camera binnacle and the camera lenses) and it reduced dry wiping by around 90%. I still get the occasional dry wipe and I don't see what the big issue is. A seldom dry wipe doesn't really impact my day enough to even mention it. Today I drove over 100 miles, I had one dry wipe, it was not a big enough deal to bother turning my wipers off..
