With looking into.
I'd like to see it compared directly to the OEM AT in noise and range, especially snow off roading and rain. Finally, also in beast mode for acceleration and lateral grip for those times I'm driving it like a hot hatch. šŸ”„

Great info, thanks for the post. Happy to see they will come in stock CT sizes. When it's time for a new set of tires I will swap the core Scorpion AT tires (which i love) for these.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m interested too. It would be nice to have an alternative in this specific niche of tires and they may be absolutely great. As I said, that remains to be seen. What pisses me off specifically in the EV business are the sycophantic sheisters who are willing to help companies attempt to take our money sometimes fraudulently for essentially free. Selling your integrity for an armrest cover or set of tires is weasley and deplorable. You YouTubers know who you are. It doesn’t make you ā€œfamousā€. It makes you a disgrace. This is my true opinion, not ā€œrage baitā€.
I don’t give a rats ass if anyone reads it. It’s just my form of self expression. Nobody listens to the music I play either. That’s not what it’s for.

I think you guys are overreacting a teeny tiny bit. I read the entire article and I have the Goodyear DuraTrac currently. Love them but if the price is right on these, I see no reason not to make the jump and gain some efficiency + less road noise. Additional testing and reviews are warranted, but I'd trust Pirelli any day over Goodyear. But to say this guy has been bought off cause he got free tires is a bit egregious. Not everything needs to be rage bait, fellas. Deep breaths go a long way.
Ok. Fair. I agree. Why not? Question for you, How do you know it will make less road noise and gain some efficiency over your good years? Certainly not because of this article.
That is in fact the most obvious question and to completely ignore that over multiple pages of review demonstrates bias in my opinion.
You could write the same article about the good years and plug that term in everywhere it says the name of these new tires.
Maybe the lack of apples for apples comparison is not intentional and the author is not a sheister, but that would make him an idiot instead.

I hear you but this is clearly a promotional review. There is no question about that based on the adjectives used and the lack of ANY data. Zero objectivity, with the only attempt clearly a sop to "looking" objective. I make no claims to knowing anything about the tires, as you do, and that's fine. The quality of the tire is likely quite good. But it is valid to call out a BS "review" that's no such thing.

Good review of the Pirelli Scorpion XTM AT tires on road and off-road...

Read full review: https://cleantechnica.com/2025/12/0...-terrain-tire-that-doesnt-ruin-your-ev-range/

Overall
Tire companies are starting to make tires of all shapes and sizes that are optimized for electric vehicles. It’s really exciting to see these Pirelli Scorpion XTM ATs performing well and delivering meaningful improvements over aggressive all-terrain tires designed for combustion vehicles. They deliver a much quieter ride than the BF Goodrich All Terrain TA KO3s without sacrificing off-road performance.

The BFG AT TA KO3s would be my go to choice for maximum durability on trails known for eating tires. The KO3s feature a 50,000-mile warranty, which is just a tad less than the 55,000-mile warranty the Pirelli Scorpion XTM ATs come with. The Pirelli XTM ATs are perfect for drivers spending more time on the highway with occasional aggressive off-road driving. They are quieter and smoother on the highway with equivalent performance and a slightly better warranty.

The Pirelli Scorpion XTM ATs are a part of Pirelli’s special line of tires for electric vehicles called ELECT. This family of tires are optimized for the extra weight and efficiency needs of electric vehicles. In our testing, the Pirelli Scorpion XTM All-Terrain tires were 1-2% more efficient than the BF Goodrich all-terrain TA KO3s on the highway. That’s not going to change the world, but it’s a nice bump over tires not optimized for efficiency.

IMO the BFGoodrich HD Terrain was almost designed specifically for the CyberTruck.
Heavy Trucks with High Torque.
I have them on my 3/4 Ton Suburban 4x4 and Range Rover and love them.
They look great, more aggressive tread than an AT, more streetable than a Mud Terrain with and stronger more durable compound that will last for our High Torque Heavy Trucks.
When my OEMs wear out I’ll be putting BFG HDs on.

Just watched the video. I'd be interested in a noise comparison and efficiency comparison. The HD tires have some huge voids in the tread and I would imagine they would be loud. Granted, if I worked in the oil fields or was on gravel a lot, i think they would be great. They did a good job of explaining the different tread features and going a bit into the science of tires which I enjoyed the most about the video. Thanks for the share.

I have the BFG HDs on both my 3/4 Ton Suburban and Range Rover and don’t find them to be loud as far as efficiency I’m sure there’s a hit but I’m not going to split hairs as my primary concerns have been Puncture Resistance, Off Road Capability, Longevity.
I hate wasting my time plugging tire for little screws and Nails and the taller aggressive lugs prevent that. It’s peace of mind when I hear the slight hum on the road. Ohmmmmm🧘

All I know is the CyberTruck comes stock with Pirelli Scorpions if you do not get Cyber wheels with Goodyear Wranglers, and from what i have seen, after 20,000 miles the Scorpions start to "Chunk Out" from what I gather, Stock Scorpions do not last, looks like a recall might be coming.
as for these new XTM At's, I have a huge concern over the sidewalls rippling, could just be the picture with low air pressure, but I have a concern. i have owner Truck for the past 45 years, all of them are Asphalt Kings, I never go off road. it just costs money. I have my dirt bikes, Quads, and Snow Mobiles for that.
As for a winter tire, the compound might be hard and slip in the snow.
just my observation.
as for the article, Yeah , some one is getting stroked.
I just cant see my 845hp Cyberbeast on a set of these.

I heard a blurb from Grok this afternoon, in 2026 with the Steer by wire Upgrade download, April or May 2026, CyberTruck Just may Crabwalk. just ask Grok.
I'm still waiting on the 2025 Christmas Update, Santa's sleigh is back, with reindeer, and the sleigh bell blinkers have been updated. just like Tron, you can turn it on or off.
2024's version was a 3 week install with the Cyberhorn, however you could not turn it off.

we shall see

Are you kidding? Definitely should be a recall
i wish i was. Since then I’ve driven it 3k miles with probably 200 miles offroading and no new big chunks yet. These tires are soft as baby’s shit. But was surprised that it performed well off road and snow.

have you ever filed a complain regarding tires before? How do you start the process?

Now there is a graphic texture description.
