There’s an area on my drive home from my girlfriend‘s house that has a Center turning lane. I’m in FSD navigating home. When I try to make a left turn onto a street the truck won’t recognize the center turning lane and won’t make the left turn. I tried to do it by turning on the left blinker and it just won’t recognize it.

If I continue up to the next stoplight that has a normal left turning lane, it’s fine and FSD will use that lane and make the left turn once the light is green.

Another issue I’m having is FSD swerving on the highway when there’s nothing there. It seems to think the tar lines from crack sealing are obstacles in the road.

Another item is that I was pleasantly surprised that when I arrived home, FSD would execute a three point turn and back into my garage. It did this a few times, but now it’s not doing it anymore. The parking is set to driveway as it has been. Anybody have any solutions to these issues or know if there’s a fix coming? I keep sending in reports when I have to disconnect FSD but nothing seems to happen with them.

Interesting how your truck is trying to steer you away from your gf.
It's amazing how these little nit noid issues keep popping up with FSD.
When I had a trial access to it in my Y Model, it interpreted a traffic light ahead warning as a railroad crossing and would want to come to a complete stop before it.

lol. FSD isn’t steering me away from my GF. I’m just in FSD driving home to my house. I always take a side road and avoid the long light a block further ahead. Navigation always chooses to go to the stop light intersection. It’s too bad the “neural” whatever doesn’t learn my habit of always using the side streets for this particular destination.

I get around the issue by not engaging FSD until I’m on that side road, but that’s not how I want it to work. I took the plunge and bought the lifetime FSD the day before Valentine’s Day.

would giving Grok explicit instruction on how to get home from your GF's house work? When I Drive to our old house FSD always bypasses the direct route and goes past the nearest street to turn right. FSD has been doing this for over a year and has not learned. I will try telling Grok turn by turn instructions next time I go there.

“If” it works, can you save the route so you don’t have to repeat the instructions every time?

The turn signal only works for changing lanes, not inducing a turn.
Is FSD following the navigation map?

Not true. I’m able to induce right turns and turns that don’t involve a center turn lane when I’m navigating in FSD. Navigation recalculates the route after the turn. It just won’t do it with a center turn lane; the kind that allows drivers to use traveling in either direction for left hand turns across traffic.

Interesting! I'll have to try doing that again.
