CT won’t let go of WiFi

Over the last month or so every morning after I leave the house my CT won’t let go of my home Wi-Fi. Five miles later it’s still showing. Of course you can’t instruct navigation while it’s on Wi-Fi.

I have to go to Wi-Fi settings and disable; then it will pick up lte.

Tried a hard reset.

Anyone else have this issue?

YEP!

I've noticed that it eventually gives up. I suspect it's just trying to grab any wifi it can find and gives up when we're out of range of all the house near us. We can force it by turning off wifi. You don't have to toggle it, cause it'll automatically turn itself on again on your next drive.

Tis an annoyance. I hope they fix it.

You're not alone, its a bug they need to fix.

try to remove the wifi profile then add it back.

SAME issue! I was at the service center today and they said they haven't heard of this but it'll likely get solved in a future update...not helpful today...

Same.

This wasn't always the case and not sure what update caused this to crop up.

It will reset on its own if you wait a long time but best way to fix it immediately is to click on the wifi icon, turn off, then turn back on.

That’s my standard practice; reassuring that others have experienced same problem. Definitely last update that caused this; hopefully future update will correct.
