Purple light when charge bay door opened but unplugged?

Anyone ever experience this? When I opened my cybertruck charging door, I get this purple light.

Never seen this before, started happening 2 days ago.

Happened to me while in extreme cold up in Vermont. I put in a service ticket along with a few other items. SA told me they will check on the charge port, but it was likely due to cold temps, because the truck was still receiving the charge. After visit summary, nothing wrong with charge port, likely temp fluctuations causing sensor malfunction.

Green LED is having a case of the Mondays (and weekends), otherwise it would be white.

Yes, once Megatron was back home in his lair (garage), the lights returned to normal. Well before my service appointment even came up a month later, but I decided to have them check anyway.

Thanks, its supposed to get really warm next week i'll wait and see if the light goes back to the normal white when its unplugged.

No problem. I have been equally helped by others and their experiences on this forum. Just paying it forward. Also, another item I had on that ticket was for an alert I received while driving in sub zero temps: “Gearbox Fluid Service Required”. Again, due to extreme cold messing with the sensor. So don’t freak if you see that one too at some point

Did yours revert back as well on its own?

When its charging I now get a yellow/orange blinking light instead of green, which the manual says its on a slower charge. But the vehicle is still showing the full speed charging at home, so it seems the lights are all messed up on the CT in the winter.

The strange thing is its been much colder and had no issues, only the last few days and it wasn't even that cold outside.

It’s happened to me for couple weeks with different color like purple, blue and white. Now back to normal.

Same thing with me. It happened a couple months ago. I put a service ticket in, but then it went bck to normal - so I cancelled it. Then it happened again, put another ticket in - it again went back to normal, but mobile service came out anyway and swapped it out. I never had any charge issues, other then the colors were not right. This happened on my model S form time to time, but it's out of warranty. Anyways, maybe it was the cold causing it all along, not sure. I have a new plug now though. This was just a few days ago, so hard to know at this point if it was all for not.
