My wife's X has a slow leak and I went to wawa to inflate only to find out their air station isn't working, and ended up with less air in the tire than before I started. I figured I should carry my own inflators. I ended up ordering the Tesla branded ones for her X and my cybertruck, but after watching some reviews it seems like there are less expensive and capable options. Curious to hear from folks with experience about what you are carrying and what is working for you.

I bought this and love it.
I bought a battery operated one first and it did not even fill up one tire with a full charge so I returned that and bought this.

This is my setup that can run on:

- 12V cigarette lighter socket.
- 110 V.
- Battery.

Ignore the prices.

If you're in the Milwaukee M18 tool family, the M18 inflator is great. I had the M12 version for a long time and it was okay in a pinch, but only on small tires. The M18 is quiet, fast, and seems to be more accurate. I have the inflator, 5.0 batt, and charger living in my smuggler's bay permanently.

The pro move is to get a Schrader adapter and get a quick connect end. Makes it a breeze to maintain optimal pressures as the temperature fluctuates in spring/fall.

I'm sure there are better alternatives if your doing something like off-road and airing up/down all the time.

I have the Fantik X9, it has autostop and is designed for truck tires, it is pricy, but it works well, it comes with a longer hose as well. I also bought a quick connect for it, so it just clips on to the valve stem. It also has a light, and can double as a power station as well.

I also have had this one for almost a year. Top shelf and worth every penny. Works great for the CT’s or most truck tires.

I was going to recommend this one as well. good thing about something like this is that you could theoretically run small air tools with it as well, and can run a multi tire inflator/deflator

This, with a 4 way inflator is hard to beat!

I got that one as well based on previous reviews. so far it's not been needed but I think it will do an amazing job.

Another vote for this one. Also fits nicely in the smugglers bay 👍

It packs a real punch, doesn't it! Quiet too.

I've used it about 50-70 times to add at least 10 psi to every tire and it's been fast and reliable for me. A number of Cybertruck owner's have one now and I haven't heard of any failing yet, so that bodes well on the reliability front so far.

It's kind of overkill when used without a 4-way hose to air up a single tire.
