Wouldn’t a 3 ton jack be sufficient given that you’re only lifting up one corner.

Wouldn’t a 3 ton jack be sufficient given that you’re only lifting up one corner.
Typically you would be lifting up one side of the vehicle, and yes, in normal circumstances even a 3-ton would work. But more margin of safety is always good. The vehicle may have heavy accessories and might not be level.

I'm going to pass on this, if I wanted to pack a spare tire and a jacking solution, I would already have those things. My backup plans don't require packing a spare tire and jack.

Gotcha. Makes sense. What’s your backup plan for a flat tire?

Nope. When they (any corporation) throws in something like a 5 dollar pair of gloves, it is only to justify (falsely) the ridiculous price.
