I don't know if this will work well, but trying to figure out a way to get us some more granular information on where we are with this PCS situation. This is my attempt.

I don't know that we've seen any '26 trucks with this issue and I know that there are a few new configurations, plus that one guy that got a RDW – so if this applies to you, just select OTHER and tell us what you're working with.

*If folks think it's needed, I think I can edit the pole and add '26 CB & AWD if necessary I just don't think those trucks are really affected. But maybe it would be worth it to see folks checking in with 100%? Let me know.

Also: If you’re here, please see and add your information to the companion polls:

Original replaced after 7 months / ~26k miles. (Part of a multipoint system failure in 11/24)
The replacement has been fine. (~10k miles)

There’s a guy on here had it fail 3x
I would try to start a buy back. I would have no trust in my truck at that point, think it would fail any time I left the driveway.

On May 6, 2026, I traded in my~9,000 vin ‘24 Foundation AWD with 20k+ miles (PCS failed ~16k miles) replaced with rev E
No PCS issues (yet😂) with my new ‘26 AWD (264 miles)
Configured it same as my FS AWD
(White interior, Cyber Wheels) except I added factory installed terrestrial armor.
Which I have read adds a massive amount cost/ labor to PCS replacement.

I was lucky enough to get my FSD transferred
The high trade in resulted in ~ 20k out of pocket including terrestrial armor & tax (no brainer)

Happily, the ‘26 warranty is bumped to 7yrs, 70,000 miles on the PCS (part of the High Priced Propulsion-Related Parts ZEV Limited Warranty)

Something I've been wondering : Is there any correlation between the level 2 charge hardware/rate and PCS failure?
I wonder B/C I can only charge at 30A off a welder outlet with my mobile charger, so drop to 24A is gonna be less noticeable.

Esp. If PCS is converting "dirty" or "spikey" ac from the charger and overworking causing failures?
Could explain the multiple failures...
Does this hold any water?

I may never see this failure, I only charge at home at 30amp
I could be wrong, but I think you have it backwards.
Seems like the AC side is the problem.
First noticed mine failed when it didn’t charge overnight on my wall charger. Then I drove to a supercharger where it also wouldn’t charge. The fact that Tesla is sending out an update that bypasses the inability to charge at superchargers tells me that the issue is AC and not DC.

it seems the majority of incidences are those charging at 48amps and the suddenly finding they can only charge at 24?
