Hey all. I just got my 2025 CT back from service yesterday. I had a cosmetic issue with the front passenger seat where the seatback wasn't installed properly at the factory.

Today, my daughter and I were out running errands. At one point, my daughter got out of the truck before me. I noticed the seatbelt she was using looked a little odd. I walked to the passengers side of the truck for a closer look and saw what's shown in the attached Pic. I love my truck, but im a little freaked out what could have happened if we were in an accident.

I would report this to Tesla and ask them to check the rest of your seatbelts under warranty.

This truck is plagued with issues... Sucks man, not trying to be negative, but the amount of issues we all have is INSANE... Should all just be lemons at this point.
mines only had… 2 issues. Can’t rail recall and PCS fail. Aside from that it’s been really good to me. 73k miles I’d buy it again, although I paid 143k after tax title etc, and after taking this AWD loaner out, I could have just gotten that and been happy and saved 70k. Awe well still happy with the beast

It's great you were negative without trying to be negative. Well done. I agree with UberNoob, those are my only issues. Everything else has been minor and all have been immediately taken care of.

Better than my first gen Subaru Ascent needing a new engine under 100k miles. Or my 2025 sienna with a messed-up hybrid battery.

Wonder if they took the belt out for the repair you had and then didn't properly reinsert?

nice man, I’m not hating it sorry if I’m coming off negative. Just insane to have so many issues is all, I know it’s first gen but still, I now have the pcs issue myself, super uncomfortable about it. What if it happens again when mine is out of warranty you know

its 1,075$ for the pcs and a harness, its not too bad cost wise. and if you on a trip supercharging still works if your software is 2026.2.9.7 or greater (that’s when they updated it to allow supercharging if it fails). they give you 90 days free supercharging too, so if you put miles on it, take trips to cedar point etc, you can break even or close to it. I travel a lot with mine, should be able to spend 1k on charging alone.

nah I’m Michigan born, but I like that park there in Sandusky used to go every year as a kid but it’s been prolly 15 years sense. Top thrill dragster just come out last time I was there. Gonna make a trip up soon tho and see if it’s still as good as I remember. Ride and slide 3 day pass is what I normally do. Fun times.

I'm telling you man how the hell are some of the people at the service center allowed to ever work on cars... You turn the seat belt screw in the unlock position and put it on and THEN pull it as hard as you can to make sure it doesn't come off, that is what the tesla service manual says to do EVERY single time when you remove a seat belt

Holy cow you are over exaggerating, It doesn’t even make the top 10 and none of Those models would ever be considered “all lemon”
