Even relatively quiet tires like Michelins, noise level changes from different types of pavement. with the Cyb truck you notice a lot of tire noise on some pavements. I looked into some articles showing the removing a lot of the flooring interior of the total truck to add an asphalt, aluminum foil that adds density to reduce noise level. It requires an extensive lot of work to do it on the cyber truck.. I did this on my last vehicle and it is pretty effective.
I am getting a little lazy in my old age, and took the lazy man’s approach. I just installed a second set of thick carpet pads and installed them on top of the existing carpet pads. I haven‘t measured with a dB meter, but Noise level reduction is noticeable.
