Why the Window Shifted

Tesla has put a temporary hold on recent-production Cybertruck deliveries nationwide. Vehicles that are already built and sitting at local service centers are being held until they receive a critical firmware update—specifically pushing vehicles from software version 2026.14.3 up to 2026.14.6.

Because service centers are processing and clearing these updates in batches (reportedly around 30 trucks every few days per site), Tesla adjusted delivery windows outward to give the service teams a buffer to catch up.

Look, I felt the same way when I saw the RWD version. I’m pretty sure this one won’t have it. But, I don’t sit in the back seat. My kid does. And when he grows up he can pay $20k more for an armrest.

It had a powered frunk and had a button inside the frunk like regular ones , the guy in the center told me it was a display unit .

Thanks so much for doing this for all of us. I noticed the backrest of the passenger seat is different from the last Cybertruck I’ve seen. Looks like there is a top are where you can possibly mount something for an iPad for the kiddos in the back. Unless that’s always been there and I never noticed before.

The more I see the interior I just think it matches so well. The color of the seats is just enough contrast. The price of $59k is outrageous for what you’re getting. I would have to think the ultimate goal is to make this a fleet vehicle for city and government. Good bye Chevy Tahoe, Ford Explorer hello Cybertruck.
