Fun exercise in memory. LOL

1996 F-150 gas - kinda purple/red (1999 this last date is when I purchased it)
1992 Chevy S-10 gas - tan (2000)
2001 F-350 diesel - "Bright Amber Clearcoat" (2001)
2002 F-250 gas - red (2002)
2002 F-350 diesel (screw that gasser getting 9mpg!) - Toreador Red (2003)
2006 F-450 diesel - dark silver (2007) (Ford's 6.0L debacle... I put the 3rd motor in it. The guy who bought it from me put the 4th motor in it)
Can't remember the small project truck here but I remember it was either a Toyota or Nissan. I did have a Nissan Pathfinder in this timeframe as well. - black (2008)
1992 F-250 gas (project truck) - Tan (2008)
2008 F-350 diesel - red (2008)
2013 F-350 diesel - Ruby Red Clearcoat (my favorite of my truck colors) (2009)
2018 F-150 gas - black (2021)
2023 Maverick gas hybrid - Hot Pepper Red (2023)
2024 Beast - Stainless Steel (2024)

Not my first truck. By far.
13 trucks dang that's some experience there.
Is the second date the purchase for each truck?

How did you get a 2013 in 2009? Pre-order?

I never really wanted nor needed a truck, but when I saw that stainless exterior I said "shut up and take my money!"
Same for me. Then I did an hour test drive. Then another hour test drive. Then a 48 hour test drive where I got to fit it in my garage and play around with this sports car that looks like a truck (but cooler). Hmm, guess I need a truck. šŸ˜‚

I had a '81 VW Diesel pickup back in college - that count? Otherwise, we've had 4x4 Legit SUVs over the years. CT will be the our first truck. Will be used for towing car trailers and overlanding.

Was my first truck, but my 20th new car. Won't be my last truck, but I'm ready to move on - I'll miss it in many ways, but definitely lookin forward to my next car already - got my VIN and delivery date for my '26 MYP.

I'm the kind of person who rarely keeps a vehicle for more than 3 years. I've literally only ever paid off one car in full, and it was my wife's - I'm almost done with my first Tesla's payments ('21 Model 3 Performance), but the MYP will be our FIFTH Tesla.

No, previously owned a Silverado 1500 LTE as well as a Nizzan Xterra Pro4x. I thought the Nissan was incredibly capable until I had my CT up in the snow in the UP this past winter. CT knocks both of those vehicles out of the water, and it's not even close.
Are snow tires a must? What brand would you recommend?

While not the best tires I've ever had, the Pirellis held up ok in the snow and for the first 15k miles. I'm getting the Nokian Outpost NATs on this Friday. They performed great on my M3, and have gotten good reviews here on the forum as well.

Depends on whether you count my PT or FJ Cruisers as ā€œtrucks.ā€ I don’t think the PT cruiser counts as one by any stretch but since the backseats were removable it definitely hauled like it was a truck. I think it counts as a wagon.

I realize only now thinking about this question that I’m more of a truck guy than I knew I just like weird trucks. The first truck I ever wanted was a Chevy S-10 when I was in high school in the late 80s, but I couldn’t afford that or any new car in 1986-7.

The first ā€œtruckā€ I ever lusted after was the El Camino. The last truck that really got my attention before the CT was the SSR!

I’m still likely to add an SSR or El Camino to my collection at some point! CT is my 5th BEV (of 6 total).
