I sent final payment today and waiting for it to go through. Hasn't reflected in the bank account but shows $0 balance due on the app. Vehicle is still showing as in transit to delivery location for delivery scheduled on Sunday, June 14. 🤞

Yep. 10:30 today is the scheduled delivery to my house. I kind of wanted to drive it off the lot but that would involve me getting a ride and this is easier. Congrats can’t wait to hear your thoughts on the quality and drive.

haven’t been this excited over a car in a loooong time if ever. 😆

My order is still delayed. I called the hotline, and they told me to contact the local agent, but when I tried calling them, there was no answer. I purchased the insurance a week ago, and the money was already deducted from my bank account back then. What should I do? I’d appreciate your advice.

Last Wednesday, the Tesla dealership messaged me asking to complete the necessary steps because the car had arrived at the delivery location. After I finished everything, they said the technical team needed an additional part. Then, they informed me that a mandatory software update was required before delivery, so I couldn't pick up the vehicle; since then, they haven't responded to any of my messages. This is the dealership in St. Louis, Missouri. Tesla withdrew my payment last week, and insurance charges were processed seven days ago. I really need some advice.

Awesome! Keep us posted on how the delivery goes. Mine is supposed to arrive tomorrow at the delivery center. Oddly enough, I haven't been able to schedule delivery yet in the app despite all steps being completed. I reached out to the SC and was advised that portion will unlock once the vehicle arrives. Quite odd since every other Tesla vehicle I've had before has allowed me to schedule the delivery day prior to the vehicle arriving at the SC. The SC is the one that told me their system shows the vehicle should be arriving tomorrow the 13th.

By chance, do you recall if your Monroney (Window Sticker) had the $59k price or the now $69k adjusted price?>

since you need the insurance to move forward with delivery I’d probably just keep it. I was somewhat in the same boat had insurance but had to delay for about 6-7 days, but small price I guess to not have to go back and forth with insurance. I did get lucky and the sales manager gave me his direct email and he’s been great with info.

Your insurance company should pro-rate, or give you a credit. Insurance shouldn't start until it's registered and you take delivery.

Personally, I would only pay (in-full or down payment) and secure insurance on the day I take delivery. What happens if you get there to pick it up, it's damaged and you decide to reject delivery? Unlikely but a possibility.

Agree. But….progressive gave a small discount to pay in full so I took the carrot.

Probably right about showing an insurance whether it’s the Ct or not.

Good, that's what I would expect. Progressive would probably adjust the start date of your CT insurace policy if you asked, or it may happen automaticlly based on the registration date.

Either way, exciting day for you...taking delivery and SpaceX goes public on the same day. How cool is that?!

How far away are you from the delivery location. If it isnt too far, make a trip out there to see what really is going on.
My pickup is in Chesterfield, MO. Its a 6 hour drive for me. Hope they don't come up with excuses after I fly out there. Lol.
