It appears Tesla is prioritizing 69k SAWD orders over the 59k SAWD orders.

This seems crazy to me, but multiple people in the Facebook group have shared the same experience.

My guess is that Tesla is trying to get their Q2 numbers up as much as possible. Really frustrating if this is more widespread though.

Don’t understand if they didn't sell many $79k, and results in the ramp back of their line. So, then take orders for $59k and $69k and make people wait months after peeps have already been waiting since 2019, 2021, and 2023.

This seems crazy to me ...
The crazy thing to me is that Tesla regularly assures its investors that they have the capacity to produce >125,000 Cybertrucks per year, or more than 30,000 per quarter. They most recently repeated that statistic in the 1Q 2026 shareholder report, issued in April.

The estimated number of US Cybertruck sales in 1Q 2026 (by Cox) was only 3,519. Call it 4,000 with international sales. Obviously that is way below the claimed manufacturing capacity of 30,000+ per quarter. So why does it take months to fulfill a Cybertruck order? OK, maybe it would make sense to prioritize the most profitable trims, but there should be more than enough capacity for all.

Guessing that's hard/installed capacity, not soft capacity.

He did not say that is what happened. He asked if that is what happened, implying he suspected that may be what occurred.

They staffed down the CT line when the sales were slow, and then CT demand went through the roof very suddenly. They can't instantly get the line running full capacity.

Also it appeared that Tesla prioritized Foundation Beast series trucks at $120k over $39k first day rwd reservations.

Not true, I was a 2019 order beast and didn’t get mine until 9/11/24. Number 29,500. There was many CyberTurtles delivered in my area well before my beast.
