$59k Base Dual-Motor AWD Cybertruck Begin Delivery!

Friends, just want to share my experience with the truck.
Before I bought the Cybertruck, I kept telling my wife how awesome it would be as a backup power source if the grid ever went down. She didn’t really see the point since we rarely lose power. Well, today we actually had a blackout—and the truck totally saved the day. Being able to run our refrigerator and freezer right off the bed outlets was a lifesaver. The look of pure relief and the huge smile on her face when I reminded her we had the truck made the whole purchase feel completely worth it.

To top it off, last week we were stuck on a ferry for an hour in 100-degree heat. While every other car had to kill their engines and bake, we were sitting in perfect A/C, watching Netflix on the giant screen, and literally brewing fresh espresso from the truck bed in the middle of the water. Moments like that make this truck feel incredibly valuable.

Can’t wait for all of you to get it and try it.

And this my friends is what makes us love the truck more everyday.

took a few hours at the service center but they stayed open late to get the final deliveries made tonight. I am in love. FSD is incredible. This is my first tesla so the UI and controls take some getting used to.

That's a pretty armrest, and we get your point, the $59k CT is not for you. I advise you to direct your emotions at Tesla if you want an rear armrest in the SAWD. Who knows, with enough feedback they may add it.

Yep. Floor mats as well. It will be easy to spot the 59k trucks rolling around with all the ugly mods and stickers I have seen for the poor people's truck.

You got me. I appologize, my memory is not what it used to be so I haven't committed all 120+ usernames to long term storage.

Hope you get your CT soon, even without mats and an armrest, I think you'll enjoy it.

Oh I'm sure I'll like it. I'm just contemplating just buying it and keeping it in the garage so nobody else can buy it. After all you know they're a limited edition.

Too bad they didn't offer a $49,000 version. I would have bought up all of those so @Crissa could never buy one. Not that they would.

Fingers crossed for everyone on here . The longer the wait the more items keep getting added to my online shopping carts and the more wrap ideas I keep playing with on Ai. Not sure either of those are good especially if I'm still months away.

Trying to figure out if a wrap could match the red metallic on my boat good enough and if I should try something like this. Probably too hard to match it, to make it look good though.

I don't think it's a specific time or day. A 2/21 Austin order on FB received vin July 4th at 7pm lol.
