I use that to power my 12,000 lb 12v winch. Have pulled my CT out of many stuck situations.
You must be using their auxiliary battery with the included Victron solar charger, which charges the battery from the 48V feed. The feed with the voltage converter alone that this thread is about is not enough power to run a winch.

I have yet to install mine, but I bought it for another reason, to power a nice SQ sound system. Did you ground the auxiliary battery to the chassis? Not sure it's necessary but a lot of auxiliary batteries in other 'normal' vehicles are typically grounded as I can gather with a little Google.

Got it. I use an auxbeam which is similar I think but hardwired.

Nice, what do you have it controlling other than the fridge? I'm planning on installing an sPOD to run some Baja lights and probably the fridge also.

Starlink mini. The frunk outlet also powers an Ecoflow river 2 pro that provides all my frunk power and charges all my toys and such but not through the auxbeam. Specifically chose that powerstation because it accepts up to 52v I think in its solar input but if you had something you needed 12 or 24v for, that would work.
@That Beast Mode also ingeniously wired one of his garage remotes to the auxbeam and uses one of his buttons momentary functions for a built in garage remote and I’m planning to do that also the next time I have the frunk tub out.

Using the 48v line in the frunk there are multiple aftermarket accessories that come with a 48v to 12v converter. Is it better to tap in multiple converters, say one for each mod, or is it better to run 1 converter and then tap in the 12v lines after the converter? I am curious which way people are going and what seems to work best.

Thanks in advance!
One converter to avoid issues with inrush current due to multiple input stage capacitors and simultaneous start ups.

Are you not worried about the battery in the ecoflow river 2 pro(if inside the frunk) overheating? I would personally only install lead acid batteries due to the extreme heat in the summer and subzero temps in winter. I keep all my power tool batteries in the cabin floor with OT prot on.

Not been an issue so far in Arizona. It’s actively cooled and I monitor it regularly on the hottest of days. Never above optimal operating temps. Can’t comment on cold temps obviously being in Arizona.
if you think about it, essentially every Tesla now has a low voltage lithium battery in almost exactly this location beneath the frunk tub and those do ok.
I had the same concern originally but have done a complete about face on the subject with some experience.
