Well I probably pushed my VIN date back as I changed my interior and wheels yesterday. My expected delivery which was April to June when I configured was now June to August prior to the change and then became July to September after the change. So I am guessing that I moved all the way to the bottom of the "list" for a VIN and might see it before the end of the year, maybe.

Mine is basically the same as yours minus the config date. I messaged yesterday, out of curiosity, and was told the truck was still in Texas. Hopefully we get a delivery date fairly soon.

Took delivery today the 7th, made the appointment on the 4th. Amazing truck! Only drove about 80 miles but so far:

Pros:
- steer by wire makes this big truck feel so nimble
- small steering wheel seems weirdly small at first, but with the sbw it just makes sense
- sound system is great
- interior is roomy with the minimal look and screens in front and back are both nice and big

Cons:
- no FSD. I’ve been using all the iterations of autopilot/fsd since 2017. Not having even basic autopilot is kinda annoying when sitting in traffic
- got a rattle in the rear speaker (could be something else, haven’t figured it out yet)
- gets dirty quick. Brand new car but within 80 miles it’s covered in bugs, and gets any water from the tires pushed up onto the sides behind the tires. Now that I think about I’ll have to double check if I even have mudflaps. Also so many fingerprints, and I’ve been trying to avoid even touching the stainless steel. I know it’s a truck and I’m gonna get it dirty, but just thought it would last a little bit longer than a few hours before looking dirty. Maybe I get it wrapped, but maybe I’ll just get used to it. We’ll see.

Luckily all my cons are things that can be easily fixed. I’m sure I’ll find some more pros and cons the more I drive it but love it so far!

I am in Louisa, Kentucky and Blue Ash is my pickup location as well. Maybe our trucks will ship together …Looks like our RNs are a lot earlier than the rest of the recent deliveries in here!

Yea, I ordered on the night of the reveal. Honestly, I was getting a little annoyed when I would see people put in later orders and get a VIN sooner ?. I felt like KY was getting skipped. Maybe I’ll see you there on pickup day and congrats!

Exactly! I called in last week before I got my Vin and asked about it. The Tesla guy said he does not know why I haven’t received a Vin yet and should be hearing any day now. I got my Vin number two days later. Not sure if that was a coincidence or not! Congratulations to you as well! See you in Blue Ash!

Yea I'm hoping that it's not someone's rejected car... Hopefully it's either the vin numbers are just all over the place or maybe someone rejected it because of the price or something that doesn't have to do with quality. ?

I don't think I have seen anyone on here that has walked away from a delivery because of quality.
