This is what new 25 inch wheel covers will look, looks like a futuristic spacesheship
new wheels.jpg
The website still shows pictures of the CT with the old A/T Aero cover, so do we know for sure that this new Cyber wheel Aero thumbnail is indeed the redesigned cover, or are you speculating?

I think I still prefer the original design, but seeing this thumbnail photoshopped like you did, its actually growing on me.

It's just an icon, and Tesla has continued to state - and does so here in the option description - that the covers will eventually make a comeback.

I don't recall Tesla saying the comeback version would look exactly the same, but who knows. If the new cover does indeed keep the exact original design, Its odd they couldn't just copy/paste the original design picture for the order page icon.

I still find their wording of “integrated” in the description of the all terrain tires very intriguing as to their potential solution to problems from the first wave. They look more robust from the photos but will be hard to tell until people start to get them on their trucks.

I don't believe there was an icon before, since there wasn't a selection?

I was sent the "pay for your truck now notice" and logging in I see a VIN number that I had no idea when it showed up. I liked the idea of smoother riding tires but not enough to delay any longer. My RN starts with RN1129 and am now in Tennessee. I have seen various opinions on paying ahead of time here but I am curious what the time frame from paying to delivery has been. I am moving the money around from stock and retirement accounts to pay for it but am curious how paying sight unseen has worked for others.

It worked fine for me for my MY and I’ll have no problem doing it for my CT. There’s no middleman and Tesla ain’t out to screw the consumers.

Just another date point. Configured AWD on 3/12 from FL. no VIN and still have edit button.

I'm tempted by both options but am staying put. I think the A/T tires are aesthetically much more appealing but am tempted by the additional range on the A/S tires. Do we know whether the wheels are the same yet? I can go either way on the interior but I've convinced myself white will standout a bit more and maybe even cooler here in FL.

Powershare equipment being installed next week.
So you don’t have a VIN assigned but have already received the email to get the PowerShare stuff installed?

It looks like the rims are also different for each option .

You dont have to pay until you decide to take delivery. I made my final payment after I had a chance to walk around the vehicle and do a few checks. After that I paid via the APP and done.

I didn’t have the option to Edit, once I selected Manage Order. So, I called and they said that they would call me to Verify the order before they sent me a VIN, which I didn’t believe. Then I sent them a text message asking if I could change it to Tactical Grey, and they made the change for me, and sent a new Order Agreement.

I am not sure what my Delivery Date was before the change, but it now says October to December 2024.
