Is anyone getting "Invitations to Configure" recently?

I ordered the morning after and I've been waiting for my Beast's VIN since January.
This is really discouraging. I've been debating switching it to AWD. Just curious. What made you stick it out with the Beast order for all this time?

I've waited for nearly 5 years so what's a few weeks/months more? Everyone who's driven both the AWD and Beast is saying that the Beast is worth the wait.

I'm in the same boat with you. If my expected delivery is 4 more months...I'm OK with that. Of course I'm excited to get it, but it'll get here when it gets here. No amount of hoping or calling and badgering SC employees will make it happen any sooner.

Should any day. I'm a 11309#### and I configured an order on 4/26, a week after getting invite even. Expecting a VIN any day now also and likely quick delivery in Austin
Curious why you think you’ll get a VIN any day. I thought that config to vin is averaging 2 months.

Ah just basing it on an advisor telling me, being in Austin, and things are faster now with production being much high than it was months ago.

It should get to the point where it's more than 1000 a week in future but even a 1000 is leagues above where it was in early Q1.

Configured on 4/26, so a month to get VIN seems reasonable and then delivery is usually fast here by the factory.

They have already hit 1,000/wk benchmark

Yeah I recall Musk saying that in the earnings call. I also assume it is sustained now but never know fully. Sure seems like it.

The old delay in reservations ordering to VIN should keep getting shorter.

Though, I suppose the take-rate will go up... First day people reserved before thinking it through. Later reservations had more time and could be sure before ordering. They are more likely to follow through.

Adding my info to the mix.

Tried to get in on early delivery program based on referral points in Feb--could not do it thanks to Virginia state law (Bird dog laws--look 'em up). I had >35 test drives easily. Zero points earned. Very frustrating.

Learned about the long-term shareholder (LTS) program in March and submitted qualifying paperwork immediately. (Screenshots made into PDFs of account with account numbers redacted. I didn't rely on "Say" to prove my longevity as a shareholder.) Uploaded PDFs accepted by Tesla.

I got my invitation to configure on 5/10 as part of the the LTS program. Ordered/configured the next day. ($1,000 non-refundable deposit)

My original reservation date was Dec 2019 (RN 11311XXXX). Not sure how much LTS factors in at this point, especially since I've seen other RN113s getting their invitations (prior to 5/11/24) without it.

I'm guessing that LTS won't make a difference on the configuration-to-VIN time (seems like about 100 days?). I'd like to hear if others can refute that. I hope that the LTS program shortens the config-to-VIN wait, but who knows?

Thanks for any additional insights from the community!
