Now that Tesla is offering the 35 inch all-season tire on the 20 inch core wheel, I made the switch because they will perform better in the snow and get better range. I live above 8,000 feet in the Sierra Nevada in CA where we get a lot of snow. The original delivery estimate of May-June 2024 changed to Oct-Dec 2024. I'm okay with that because it gives Tesla more time to work out more of the production bugs and increases the likelihood that my Beast will be free of issues. RN 112768xxx; order date 12/22/23.

Tons of respect for that decision! I’m ready in that time frame, but completely applaud your patience! I’m excited, but I’m of the mindset that it will get here when it gets here.

Thanks for the kind words and apologies for the auto fill error in the subject line. "East" was supposed to be "estimated "but I think you got that. Anyway, having waited already for almost 5 years like most of us on the Forum a few more moths to get what I wanted just doesn't seem like a big deal. I like your mindset, that it will get here when it gets here. Good for you!

I wish I had your zen. I'm sitting over here with one eyelid twitching, counting the 145+ days since I configured my beast.

You are a very patient buyer!
It helps that I still have my 2028 X 100D. That is an amazing car. I've driven it over 125K miles without a single problem. We tow a small tear drop trailer a couple times each summer. Last year we even towed a small U-Haul trailer with our son's household things from Denver to Reno, across the continental divide, sometimes in head winds and temperatures above 80. Just about the worst combination but we made it with a couple of extra charging stops and a night in a motel. It was a 21st century road trip for sure.

The other reason for patience is that the CyberLandr will go into final production late this year. It might work out that I can take delivery of both my CT and CL at about the same time.

I’m about 100 days. I keep hoping there will be a long term shareholders accelerated delivery. It looks like that’s not happening.

I've never been a patient man but I switched my beast to grey interior and all season tires with a similar rationale (range and hopefully better build quality/reliability). I'm pretty sure my beast was already in production because I was not able to modify my order on the webpage so I had to do it directly through the service center. Now I'm really getting bad FOMO.

As Yoda might say, "think not about how long you have to wait, no, think instead about how happy you will be when you are driving your Beast!" All the best, Gregg
