I suspect the summer bug remover formula is different than the winter Magnesium Chloride (road salt) remover. Since it is summer, we are looking for whatever bug remover they use but maybe many will work.

What was the name of the car wash? Ask bc im in CO, north of you! Looks more than good enough for what I need given mine will be outside and our weather hates clean cars! That and PFF the front for bugs!

Did you keep cleaning them off or just let them be? If you cleaned them off did you use any chemicals?
I've heard silicon dioxide based cleaners help a ton, but I have no idea how that'll turn out long term since they're made for paint.

I don't know why, but after nearly 3 months, finger prints don't happen nearly as much as when the truck was new.
The whole fingerprint thing is so over-blown. So is the difficulty in caring for the stainless steel. I just wash it with soap and water! Easy and it works great.

LOL, I am amazed at all the people who have lived with stainless steel everywhere and still not know what to expect. If they are so unhappy with its natural look I am glad they have all kinds of expensive alternatives to change it, but it seems so pointless to me. It's worse than just gilding the lily. I certainly wouldn't have bought it just to change it and override its advantages.
