Same! VIN in the 106xx range. All 3 of our trucks were built in the same batch. I don't have a delivery date yet either, VIN received on 5/17

My understanding is it is likely in production. Production is quick but then it takes a number of days to get through checks, more days for transportation, and more at the delivery center for checkout and prep. The exception is if someone refuses delivery and Tesla then offers it to the next in line in the local area. Then you may get a VIN and a very quick delivery date. With a VIN like yours it’s the former and if it’s the standard white FS trim, I’d expect it in a month.

My buddy got his VIN and 4 days later took delivery. I don’t think it’s always the case. I find it’s been more likely that it’s done and in transit. Hope that’s the case anyway .

I am weeks past receiving VIN and paying car in full. They just keep telling me the truck is in containment in an off site lot. Some employees say it’s the government holding on it. Others say it’s headquarters holding on it.

Why would you pay before taking delivery? Did you pay in full or just a % of the total?

I'm planning on just showing up with a cashiers check on delivery appointment.
