Received text from Tesla re “Texas Vehicle Pick Up Process”

SIAP … today, I received a text from Tesla with link to PDF regarding “Texas Vehicle Pick Up Process”.

Is this a positive sign that I may receive a VIN soon for Cyberbeast (2/22 order, Q4 expected delivery)?

Or is this an automated message that doesn’t mean much, other than “Howdy from Tesla”? ?

WOW, I was just going to make the same post and ask the same question as I received the same, today, and would like to believe that the CyberSleigh is getting close to coming home. Anxious to see what the rest of the crew have to say...pweeeeze be a precursor to VIN assignment!!!!!

Mine is a 3/21/24 order date...I have my plates already reserved and Tom's Cyberbeast frame all ready to go, just need the BEAST!!

I received my CT in Texas in late March. The information on that PDF was conveyed to me via e-mails in the order process. But there was definitely a lack of communication about the pickup process, once I had completed everything on my end (payment, insurance, e-signatures on documents, etc.) My truck needed some 'repairs' before they would deliver it, and the communication during that time was lacking and frustrating. Since Texas doesn't allow Tesla to be a dealer, I'm not sure how much that limits their ability to directly communicate with the buyer. All of the communication I received was via e-mail or through the silly message system on the app. If I had to guess, they are just trying to improve their communication process.

I too received this message via text yesterday. However, I only received my invite and configured by Beast on 5/23 with an Oct-Dec delivery expectation.

Wish it meant something more though....

Got an answer. It’s an automated message that does not correlate with VIN.

While it’s not the answer that I wanted, I do appreciate Tesla’s responsiveness.

I too received this message, my order date for beast is 01/31/24 with RN11274XXXX. I thought this was a very promising email until I read this thread.
