I recently offered my CT to two car show organizers of the same small town show and was completely and totally ignored ?
I still want to attend the show, regardless, but would it be tactless/rude to show up in the CT, which is sure to draw a crowd?

Edit: To be clear, this isn't a themed car show. It's just "bring your cool cars!" Everything from model t to lambos will be there.

I have only been invited to car shows. Was approached twice in parking lot, and someone else got my email.

Not sure I would go someplace I wasn't wanted just to prove a point and maybe end up looking like an ass hat.

Yes. Show up in your vehicle.

IMO there is no need to derail the show even if you show up in your Cybertruck. If you’re parked close enough, and people are interested, they’ll most likely approach you naturally
I think this would be the best case scenario. I wasn't planning on just parking in the middle of the show without being invited! But the parking area and the show are kinda all right in the same parking lot ?

ha, ha! you will likely end up with your own solo show!
Yes, that is my fear/hope. Fear that it'll upset the hosts, hope that it'll improve the show for all in attendance.

Do you need explicit permission from host to show your car? They might have been buried with tons of emails to respond. If you have time to show, then just drive and show your CT. If you are worried, you can always check-in and ask the host before parking. Nevertheless, CT doesn't need more advertisement. Car show happens wherever CT shows up, at least for now. I wish this was not the case but it is what it is. Good luck!

Yeah I brought mine to a show today and another Cyber Truck showed up. Two of the videographers were there and they had heard there were going to be CTs. So they had to wear “No EVs” t-shirts and refused to film the CTs. I just laughed at what morons they were. The trucks were a hit. People loved them. I parked mine in between 2 Porche 911s. The owners enjoyed my truck and were very interested in it.

? The videographers were refusing to include EVs? Weird ... But ok

This truck release has been like that South Park election where the town goes to war over the turd sandwich ? then completely forgets about it a week later.

Possibly! But to be in the show section permission is needed I guess. I emailed them 2 weeks ago and followed up a week ago. Got the message when a friend of mine emailed them about his Impala and got a response in <1 hour.

Be a car guy, go! Smile and welcome all questions — endlessly — with good humor. Being ignored is an invitation to break the ice.
