Lock Confirmation Sound

I don't want my vehicles to honk or make a sound as I walk away when they lock. The old Cybertruck makes a sound that sounds like a vault closing. It is pretty funny, but I can't disable it. When I check "Locks" on the display, the Lock Confirmation Sound is off. Strangely, I can't turn it on now. What am I doing wrong? I'm on software version 2024.14.11. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Yeah mine does the same. It didn’t have a lock sound when I took delivery. I tried all of the different lock sounds and got tired of them, so turned it off and with the lock sound “off” it makes a weird robotic fart sound. I’ve done recent updates and can’t turn this off. Were you able to figure this out?

I updated mine to make the transformers sound, then I added the matching decal.

I have mine set to "prison cell closing" but I feel it's too low (much quieter than default).

Is there a way to turn up the volume?

If you don't want a lock sound, you could create a blank WAV file and select that as your custom USB sound. Maybe there's a simpler way, but I've had a couple drinks, it's late, and that's all I can think of. Download 1 second silent wav, and follow instructions for replacing your lock sound. Apologies if I'm not understanding the question.
