Mine was scheduled to deliver tomorrow but got a message in the App that delivery is postponed to next week. Didn’t say any reason.

Was supposed to pick mine up on Sunday and I was told it’s late next week now. Was gonna bring a cashiers check but ended up using Plaid instead.

Anyone know how quickly the payment goes through? Or is it deducted on the day of delivery?
My plaid payment went through in about 48hrs after making it

I picked mine up on a rainy day so I knew it was working before I left the parking lot. I hope if it's working it stays working, but I guess we all should be prepared for a possible replacement to be needed.

I picked up on Tuesday in Florida and left and made it 20 miles and it started pouring raining. Had to sit in a Dunkin Donuts for 3.5 hours and call Tesla roadside assistance because i couldn’t see. They took it to the SC and said it would be a few weeks before the wiper motor could be replaced. Once the rain passed, i took the CT and added some Rainx for now. But it was super dangerous…had to open my window and hang out the window to see until i could get to a safe place with the wiper not working.
I put a ceramic coating on my windshield and find that above 60 mph I basically don’t need wipers.

Same experience with VIN 9xxx, mine has not worked at all. Went back and forth with Tesla for several weeks waiting for them to get the part and now have a service appointment on 24th. They never said specifically, but assuming they are replacing the motor. All I told them was it was not working and they seemed to know what they needed to do, so a recall or more widespread service issue is not surprising.

My 4400 VIN has worked fine through a lot of wet drives. Do people think the part number changed or just that there was a batch of defective motors?

My wiper never worked. Took 2 weeks to get the part. Apparently the old motors will all fail, the replacement has a new part number
I wonder if this will be a recall. I also wonder if the mobile guys will eventually be able to do this.

I’ve used my sub 200 VIN wiper often enough to know I haven’t had any issues…but coincidentally my passenger side R1S wiper motor did fail this year.
