Just heard that all Cybertruck deliveries have been halted for about a week. Apparently a new safety issue was discovered with the windshield wiper motor.

Was supposed to pick mine up on Sunday and I was told it’s late next week now.
My wiper has not worked for a while was told to wait for few weeks for a wiper motor. Option was they keep the truck or I reschedule. Took the truck back.. crazy !
I picked up on Tuesday in Florida and left and made it 20 miles and it started pouring raining. Had to sit in a Dunkin Donuts for 3.5 hours and call Tesla roadside assistance because i couldn’t see. They took it to the SC and said it would be a few weeks before the wiper motor could be replaced. Once the rain passed, i took the CT and added some Rainx for now. But it was super dangerous…had to open my window and hang out the window to see until i could get to a safe place with the wiper not working.
Mine was scheduled to deliver tomorrow but got a message in the App that delivery is postponed to next week. Didn’t say any reason.
I was supposed to pick mine up Monday and now it’s moved to Friday 6/21 Vin 16447
My wiper never worked. Took 2 weeks to get the part. Apparently the old motors will all fail, the replacement has a new part number
Same experience with VIN 9xxx, mine has not worked at all. Went back and forth with Tesla for several weeks waiting for them to get the part and now have a service appointment on 24th. They never said specifically, but assuming they are replacing the motor. All I told them was it was not working and they seemed to know what they needed to do, so a recall or more widespread service issue is not surprising.
