My truck bed is dirty. Occasionally, I need the bed to transport things that I want to keep relatively clean.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a thin mat/drop-cloth that's machine washable and non-slip on both sides? Or any other solutions?

I've tried drop cloths, furniture blankets, etc. but they all slide around and bunch up into a corner/side. I tried a non-slip rug mat under a drop-cloth which keeps the drop-cloth in place but everything on top slides around.

In my boat I have an area with a wooden deck wrapped in outdoor thin pile carpet. I have Velcro wedges from Weather Tech that hold the tackle box in place. No rattling around. No scratches. Same process in the bed of a truck. Maybe might work for you.

In all of my trucks I've always recycled an old scrap of thin, stiff foam that's about the width and length of the bed. Most recently I've been using one of the two 1/4" black foam sheets that my hot tub cover shipped sandwiched between for protection.

It's really handy when I have a bed full of crap, I unload the half I can reach normally, then I slide the rest of it towards me to the tailgate by pulling on the foam sheet. The foam gets beat up over the years, punctured and sometimes torn, but by the time it's not holding together good enough to work well anymore, invariably another one shows up.

If my bed or the foam sheet gets dirty, I hose it out with a garden nozzle.
