Just got another text message. Before it said 6/20 at 11am now they’re saying “tentatively” on 6/20 at 4:30pm. Has anybody else gotten a similar message?

Nobody's been responding to me. Maybe my truck hasn't arrived at SC yet.

Logistics! If the parts are delivered early in the morning, the service team can install them and schedule the delivery like around mid morning. If the parts are delivered Mid morning-Noon then delivery is postponed accordingly. The SC's are trying to deliver cars as fast as they can before end of the quarter. That was my takeaway from the discussion this morning.

I checked app today and now have ability to reschedule appointment which I didn't before. I could have have moved up a day but chose to push back due to SC a hour away and arranging a ride. Currently scheduled for Friday evening delivery if it holds. I texted advisor to confirm but nothing back yet. Anybody else using Raleigh SC?

Charlotte always says tentatively. I've picked up 2 Teslas there. Raleigh (where I got my other) isn't as ambiguous. Mine is tentatively for the 21st, but every time previously it wasn't moved.

Tesla moves so quickly with recalls/delivery holds. It's crazy how long the hubcaps are taking to redesign.

I’ve been noticing people posting their VIN. What is the point of that if you don’t mind me asking? Mine is 15XXX
It helps to some extent... which VINs are potentially impacted by recall...

No way they don't try to get as many of these trucks delivered as they can for the end of the quarter. I can't imagine this will take too much time to resolve. I would bet most people with an assigned vin will get a truck in the next two weeks.

I haven't gotten the truck back yet due to me being out on a vacation, but my truck's major power drain (03XXX) was fixed on Wednesday night and considered solved on Friday, as well as a speaker issue also resolved with that same power issue. I never had any issue with the wiper, though did use it quite a bit. The timing just makes me wonder if my 2 week service visit with multiple people at Tesla Engineering working on the issue may somehow be related... I somewhat assume not, but I'll know more in a week when I can finally view the paperwork (seems I can't see the paperwork even though service has been marked as completed until I actually do the pickup).

It will be such a small drop in the bucket .... only the CT managers will be interested / impacted.

Res: 11/25/19
Res #: RN11299
Ordered: 4/4
Vin: 5/30
Delivery scheduled for today June 19th 11:00am

Received a call from Tesla last night to tell me they were pushing my delivery to 6/29

I pushed back and they changed to 6/24

WTF?!?!? This sucks!

Question:
Does anyone have a good “what to look for” list when taking delivery?

It does, especially when you can use rainx or similar product. But wipers are safety issue so they can’t deliver until it’s fixed.

This makes me think that those of us with the old motor are going to get a recall one day.
