I’m currently on the fence on getting another Model S Plaid. A little background on my situation. I’m going through a buyback for our current MSP (2024) and will be surrendering it tomorrow. While I was waiting for a response from Tesla on the buyback, I placed an order for another MSP after I received confirmation of a buyback. A couple days later, I get an email to design my cybertruck (RN114).
I’m looking for input from those that have went from an MSP to an AWD CT and see what your thoughts are. I’ve been to our local Tesla showroom multiple times to check out the CT in person but they don’t allow test drives.

Also forgot to mention that we have a 2 year old and a 6 year old and we like to travel often. We just got back from doing a 1,000 mile road trip from NorCal to San Diego and back. The car was PACKED with our luggage and stuff we bought along the way, as well as a stroller.
I love the speed of the MSP but wish it rode as comfortable as an X.

VERY different cars of course. The Model S gives you more interior convenient storage I'd say but the CT has a to. More by using the bed, just not as easy to get to. Frunk is a little better on CT but don't plan on much in it.

CT is definitely a more spacious interior and your not 2" off the ground scraping on steep driveways, that was an issue I had a lot where we are.

I have a 3 year old and 12 year old and a 2021 Plaid and a 2024 Cybertruck. Buy the Cybertruck, you won’t regret it. Then, consider the X over the S as well. My wife’s daily driver is the X, but she loves the CT in place of my Raptor. The S, she hates. Happy wife, happy life brother. Good luck!

Get the CT!
My beast is my first truck and I won’t drive any other cars.
My buddy has a model S and x7 and he still mostly drive x7 with kids. I have an x7 and CT, I haven’t touched x7 at all for the past 2 weeks.
Both my kids, 2yo and 4yo, absolutely love CT and never want to ride in any other cars.
Get a beast if you can, and you can almost get the MSP speed and never need to worry about space.

I would love the beast but need another car ASAP since I’m surrendering the S tomorrow. The tri motor is what I originally ordered too

I have a 3 young kids under 7 years old. The CT is a great family car. It is very roomy and super comfortable. It has tones of cargo space as well so you can carry bikes/scooter etc. Buy the CT you won’t regret it.
